In Melton Winter League Division One, Boys and Their Toys continued to struggle as they were thrashed 7-2 by the Cherry Tree.

Noels BBs got back into winning form as they eased past the Conkerers 6-3, and Rob Jack inspired the Thunders to a 6-3 win over the Welby.

The Royal Duke beat the Swanderers 5-4 despite an eight-ball clearance from Paul Jepson in the doubles, while Timmy’s Stick raced into an early lead before eventually edging out the Fulderiks 5-4.

Armee Pere maintained their stranglehold on the top of the table with a 5-4 victory over MSC A.

* In Division Two, My Swans Are Sick beat Legion B 7-2 after Aaron and Shaun Watson produced a seven-baller in their doubles match.

Royally Screwed ensured they wouldn’t be sitting in the relegation spots over the Christmas break by beating Ingall’s Idiots 6-3, and You Shall Not Pot became the first team to beat Harboro Cadabra in the league, doing so with a dominant 6-3 performance.

Janet Noels Best looked down and out, but came back from behind to steal a 5-4 win over Phoenix Knights. Pop Ya Cherry kept themselves in second place with a 5-4 win over MSC Elite.

The Polish Club sent Notorious TIB to the bottom of the table by inflicting a narrow 5-4 defeat on them.

* In Division Three, the Pool Boyz recorded another 8-1 victory, this time over Our Drinking Team Has a Pool Problem.

Half Cut put a dent in Cue Up’s title ambitions as they beat them 6-3, while Genny Jokers went four points clear at the top with a 6-3 win over Just the Tip.

The Con Merchants beat Burton Street Preachers 6-3 with new signing Joe Jogia winning both his frames, while The Bears on Powder also recorded a 6-3 win in beating BD.

Top of the League won the Queniborough derby as Mel Bennett inspired a 5-4 win over Crazy Gang.
