Melton Olympic Cycling Club: Haines collects latest league win

The latest round of Melton Olympic Cycling Club’s evening time trial league took place on the Wymondham course last Wednesday.

With a few spots of rain before the start, 12 riders took part with Jamie Haines coming home with the best time of 22min 05secs followed by Steve Savage in 22.59, and Jeff Snodin (23.03) in third.

* Next Wednesday evening sees the club holds its Midsummer Handicap 25, run concurrently with the Club Championship 25, on the Granby course. First riders are off at 7.15pm.

* The Sunday club run leaves Mill Street car park at 9am with a halfway point of Rothley.
