Leicester Riders star drops by as Frisby clinch basketball title

Young basketball champions were crowned last week under the watchful eye of a Leicester Riders star.

Leicester Riders player Harrison Gamble and community coach Mark Edwards came along to John Ferneley College, in Melton, for the grand final of an area schools final.

Honours in the Year 5 and 6 basketball final went to Frisby Primary School who won out 20-6 against their Brownlow School rivals.

After the match a question and answer session was held with Harrison and they went on to promote their new stadium which is opening in Leicester.

Frisby will go on to represent Melton and Belvoir schools in the Level 3 Super-Series Final on March 17 at the new Leicester Community Arena.
