The Vale of Belvoir Darts League staged a high calibre singles competition at Bottesford Cricket Club on Friday.

The place was full of supporters hoping to see their team’s representatives win this prestigious event.

The darts were of a very high standard, typified by Clive Rodregus, of the Kings Arms, Scalford, who hit two 180s, but still lost out.

Other 180s where scored by Alan Kerney (Rose and Crown, Hose) and Kevin Leadenham (Woolsthorpe Social Club A).

Leadenham defeated Jamie Haynes, of the Royal Horse Shoes, Waltham, in a very hard-fought final, by two legs to one to take the title.
