It's many happy returns for Melton Cycling Club committee

Bill Vetcher returned to his chairman’s seat along with Nick Sharpe as treasurer and Theresa Coltman as club secretary, while Stuart Faver began another spell as club captain.

The club thanked Bill Stanley for his hard work during his presidency as Brian Fenwick takes over the role.

Other members sitting on the committee include Kathryn Bloodworth, David Anderson, Norman Portess and Jim Sutherland, while Joe Thorn took over the press secretary role from his dad Andrew.

Wednesday night turbo training sessions are back under the watchful eye of national coach Bill Vetcher.

The sessions are held at Scalford Village Hall from 6.45pm to 8.15pm and are suitable for all riders, young and old.
