Have your say

Hamilton Tennis Club recently held a very successful open day as about 100 children and adults came to the Melton club to try their hand at tennis.

Great fun was had trying to hit backhands, forehands, volleys and serves in sessions supervised by coaches and assisted by club members.

Most found it not quite as easy as Andy Murray makes it look, but everyone had a go.

An obstacle course for the younger members was very popular with the fastest boy and girl being Jaden Fivaz and Phoebe Chalmers.

On the club league scene, Hamilton’s ladies’ first team won 6-3 against Leicestershire A.
