Matt lands Melton GC Junior Captain’s Day prize

YOUNG golfer Jamie Graham held his Junior Captain’s Day at Melton Golf Club on Sunday.

The event was well-supported and despite windy conditions, good scores were returned. The main competition was won by Matt Kuzmicz with 35 points, just one ahead of runner-up Jake Mogg, while George Boddy finished in third position.

The 24 to 28 handicap section was won by Will Newton whose score was just one shot better than Declan McAuley. Third place went to John Wallace.

Nearest-the-pin prizes were won by Ben Tyler and John Wallace, while the putting competition was won by James Parker.

The winner of the past captains prize was Leah Radford, while the pre-handicap section was topped by Harry Sargood on countback from Chris Moule.
