Manton wins the Carlton Cup as Stoke Rochford Ladies impress

Stoke Rochford GC’s Ladies played for the Carlton Cup, a stableford competition, on August 15.

This was won by Lara Manton with 42 points, ahead of Elaine Kirby (38 points) and Roseanne McKee (37 points).

The gross prize was won by Pam Watson.

August 19’s midweek medal was won by Elaine Kirby with a nett score of 69. Second was Amanda Lewis (70) with Roseanne Mckee third (72).

The Burroughs Crystal, a medal, was played on Saturday in wind and rain. Dorne Werner won with nett 71, ahead of Pauline Haggerty (nett 75) and June Miller (nett 77).

Pam Watson won the gross (89).
