Old Dalby turned in another impressive performance as they secured their second South Nottinghamshire League win of the season on Saturday.
Dalby won the toss and put Beeston into bat who made a slow start to their innings due to some accurate swing bowling from openers Joe Gant (4 for 10) and new signing Lee Creedon (2 for 13).
The visitors were slow to push the score along and only Stuart Tideswell (33) and Jason Catchpole (28) made any impression until Tideswell was caught by Harry Clayton off the bowling of Richard Harris with the score on 82-4.
Beeston were finally bowled out for 125 in 41.2 overs.
After the break, Dalby lost opener Nick Greaves in the third over, but a quickfire 39 from David Greaves helped the score along until he was caught by Woodliffe.
Harris (45 not out) and Gant (18 not out) saw Dalby to the target for the loss of four wickets in 24.4 overs.
