The spectacular rise of Melton footballer Ollie Burke took another giant step today when he received his first senior international call-up for Scotland.

The pacy midfielder qualifies for Scotland through his father and has made several appearances for their under 19s, scoring his first international goal last October against Mexico.

Burke, who began his career as a junior at Mowbray Rangers, has spent more than 10 years at Forest and this season has established himself as a regular in their first team.

Last month he agreed a new four-and-a-half-year contract amid growing interest from other clubs, having signed professional forms in October, 2014 and made his debut in the same month in the League Cup against Spurs.
