Wymeswold FC dropped their first North Leicestershire League points of the season on Saturday when they shared six goals with Falcons.
Adam Brind bagged a double for the Premier Division leaders and Linford Harris’ prolific season continued with his 17th goal of the season.
But Luke Green hit back with two of his own for the visitors before substitute Kieren McEnery’s strike earned the visitors a point.
On Saturday they face a testing trip to fourth-placed Mountsorrel Amateurs (kick-off 2pm).
* Darren Lighbown’s double got Clawson Kings off the mark in Division Two with an impressive result against second-placed Loughborough Emmanuel.
Ryan Carley was also on target as Clawson won 3-1 at the All England Ground in Melton.
On Saturday they travel to Thringstone Miners Welfare Reserves (ko 2pm).
* Wymeswold’s reserve side are also setting the pace in Division Three and racked up double figures on Saturday.
Curtis Mildenhall was the star of the show with four goals in their 10-0 win at Asfordby Village.
Tom Hulett, Luke Ratcliffe and Liam Winnett also found the net before substitutes Christopher Derrick and Callum Payne came off the bench to score.
They lead on goal difference from Quorn Rangers and three points ahead of Asfordby FC Development who were also impressive winners on Saturday.
Hosting Greenhill YC A, Charlie Richards claimed a hat-trick, and there were doubles for Jamie Felstead and Leon Watson, while Thomas Atherley also struck in an 8-0 win for Asfordby.
Elsewhere in Division Three, mid-table Bottesford Reserves played a 1-1 home draw with Castle Donington Reserves, Andy Daybell on target for the hosts.
This weekend, Wymeswold Res host Woodhouse Imperial Reserves, while Asfordby Development travel to Measham Welfare Reserves, and Bottesford head for Mountsorrel.
