Pumas played their last game of the season and said goodbye to coaches Phil and Shaun.

Mowbray went straight on the attack with Sercombe sending a great chance just wide. Cowan found some space on the left, but Godfrey could not find the Towers net.

Hill also had a good chance as Pumas started the stronger, but Towers came into the game and soon opened the scoring with a close-range finish folllowing a goalmouth scramble from a corner.

The home defence stood firm with brilliant tackling from Cantrill, Salinger, Cowan and Cook as Towers continued to counter-attack, while keeper Goodwin pulled off some great saves. Cowan came close to levelling, but his free kick was wide.

Towers continued to grow stronger, but the Rangers defence continued to perform well. Hack was in fine form and found space from Sercombe and Godfrey, but shot just over the bar.

Goodwin kept Towers out in the second half with some brilliant saves. Hill, Hack and Godfrey continued to run at the Towers defence, but couldn’t find the all-important equaliser, and Sercombe went close late on.

The Puma squad and parents wish to thank Phil and Shaun for managing the team.
