There will be just one new face in the East Midlands Counties League next season.

Derbyshire side Mickleover Sports will pay their first visit to Holwell Sports after being promoted as champions of the Central Midlands South League.

They replace EMCL champions Bardon Hill who moved up to the level five Midland Football League.

No team was promoted from Leicestershire Senior League after Melton Mowbray and Saffron Dynamo both failed to meet ground requirements, while champions Sileby Town did not apply.

Friar Lane and Epworth were the only team to apply for promotion to the EMCL and pass a ground inspection, but they were ineligible after finishing outside of the top five.

Proposed 2016/16 constitution: Anstey Nomads, Arnold Town, Ashby Ivanhoe, Aylestone Park, Barrow Town, Blaby and Whetstone, Borrowash, Ellistown and Ibstock United, Graham Street Prims, Gedling MW, Greenwood Meadows, Holbrook, Holwell Sports, Kimberley MW, Mickleover Sports, Radcliffe Olympic, Radford, South Normanton, St Andrew’s, Stapenhill.
