Dirk sweeps to victory on Oasis

Using Oasis for the first time for some years it was a tale of two ends as Lake View Vets met on Saturday.

On peg 18 Dirk Williams swept to victory with 56lbs and alongside him on peg 16 Cliff Adcock found some better quality fish but fell short with 30lbs to take second on the lake.

Ralph Marshall won the other section on peg three with 26lbs.

On Lagoon, Bob Dyer won with 44lbs with Steve Beckhurst winning his section with 17lbs.

Last Wednesday Gary Smith won from peg 21 on Marina with 39lbs.

John Cooke was second with 34lbs and third overall was Martin Quilter with a haul of 29lbs.

The other section winner was Steve Fletcher on peg 14 with 28lbs.

On Reef, Mick Hemstock took the lake with 25lbs and Steve Beckhurst was second with 21lbs.
