Asfordby FC Under 10s returned to league action at Hoby Road on Sunday morning, and once again they were soon in their stride.

The hosts attacked the Hinckley goal and only the bravery of the keeper kept Asfordby at bay.

After 10 minutes the deadlock was broke when Connor slid the ball through for Max who scored from 10 yards.

Soon after the kick-off, Theo broke up the play in midfield and played the ball through to Thomas who beat the keeper at the near post for 2-0.

Hinckley were starting to get into the game and only a brave save from Rhys denied the visitors, but just before half-time they pulled a goal back with a fine solo effort to trail 2-1 at the break.

Asfordby restored their two-goal lead shortly after the interval when Joe showed neat footwork before squaring the ball for Max to score his second.

The hosts poured forward, and Toby put through Thomas to make it four before Connor smashed home a fine individual goal for 5-1.

Archie and Toby had everything covered for Hinckley’s rare attacks, and Max controlled Rhys’ long ball to smash home and complete another fine hat-trick.

Connor added a seventh by poking home from five yards after good work on the wing from Thomas.

Hinckley scored a late consolation goal as Asfordby completed another fine win.

Asfordby: Rhys, Archie (c), Theo, Toby, Connor, Joe, Thomas, Max.
