Asfordby FC are holding their annual festival of football at their Hoby Road ground on Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12.
Tournament director Simon Atherley believes the event has become recognised as the largest and most well organised of its type in Leicestershire.
Simon said: “There are a record 134 teams booked in with more than a thousand players expected to compete at age levels from under 7s to under 14s, and we hope to draw an attendance of up to 4,000 people a day.
“All we now need is some good weather!”
The tournament comes on the back of a successful season for the Hoby Road club, with four teams promoted and the under 13s winning the Division Two league title.
