A thrilling semi-final saw Wymeswold just fail to get the two runs they needed off the final delivery.
In this clash of the league’s top two , Dalby batted first and posted 118-3, Joe Gant top-scoring with 50.

Wymeswold required 10 off the last over and got agonisingly close, only to lose by just one run.

Wymeswold bounced back from their cup disappointment to keep there unbeaten league run going.
Wymeswold posted 95-2 with Rob Pitman contributing 47 not out.
The evergreen James Dickens was outstanding in the field. In reply, Rich Randall (23) and Dale Radford (13) started well but they could only make 83-9 (Durdon 4 -22 and Shelton 3 -13).
