Egerton Park old boys annual get together
THERE were plenty of old yarns and even older jokes as generations of cricketers met up at Egerton Park for their annual get-together.
The Past Players and Members Lunch has been a feature of the Melton club’s season for the last 20 years, organised by John Bailey, and this season brought together about 45 players.
They were joined by senior townwarden Richard Sage, and junior townwarden Dinah Hickling from Melton Town Estates.
The day was capped in fine style with victory by the First XI in their County League match with Market Harborough Seconds.
