Barkby United remained in the Division One promotion race after earning a wining draw at home to second-placed Earl Shilton on Saturday.
The visitors won the toss and put Barkby into bat. Berrisford was out for five, but Matt Boyce and Tom Flowers put on 116 for the second wicket before Boyce (68) top-edged a catch.
Steve Flowers was bowled for 10 with the score on 149, but Matt Harby and Flowers added 41 for the fourth wicket before Harby was caught for 16.
Flowers’ fine knock ended on 105, an innings he dedicated to his late grandfather Eric.
Aiden Morris struck some fine blows in his 37 not out off only 22 balls as Barkby reached 262-6 from their 45 overs.
Rain reduced Shilton’s innings to 41 overs and a revised target of 239, and Waplington had soon struck twice to reduce the visitors to 31-2.
Ali and Kwasena took the score to 116 before Troop caught Kwasena off the bowling of Drake for 36.
Morris came into the attack and had Ali caught behind by Troop for 51, but Payne and Smart again got the visitors back into the game, putting on 92 for the fifth wicket before Drake had Payne caught by Steve Flowers for 37.
Drake struck again, bowling Phillips with his next ball, but the hosts only managed one more wicket, Drake having Smart stumped by Troop of the last ball of the game, as the visitors finished on 232-7.
Barkby took 15 points and next travel to Loughborough Second XI on Saturday (1pm).

* On Monday, August 31, Barkby will play a Flowers Select XI in a memorial match for the late Eric Flowers.
Eric was a regular supporter at Beeby Road and is the grandfather of club captain Steve and Tom Flowers.
The 40-over-a-side match will begin at 2pm, and during the tea interval a bench will be donated to the club, in memory of Eric, by the Flowers family.
