Online and postal entries for next month’s Belvoir Half Marathon have closed, but entries can still be made on the day.
The popular race, traditionally held two weeks before the London Marathon, has already received more than 500 entries.
Entry, priced at £27 and £25 for affiliated club runners, will be taken on race day on Sunday, April 10, from 8am, entry numbers permitting.
The maximum limit is set at 700.
The race starts and finishes at Hose Village Hall and takes runners through Harby, Langar, Colston Bassett and Long Clawson.
Stuart Spencer, of Barrow Runners, won last year’s event in an impressive 1hr 10min 08secs.
There is also a four-and-a-half-mile fun run, priced at £8 and £6 for club-affiliated runners.
Refreshments and snacks will be available from the village hall from 9am as will pre and post-race massages.
