Every dog had its day at Old Dalby Day’s annual dog show held on Bank Holiday Monday (August 27).

A generous crowd was present to support dogs and their owners for a grand afternoon of fun and community organised by Lynne Marshall of Love Your Dog Training.

The winners were as follows: Most Handsome Dog, Hayley Hardy with Lincoln, reserve was Emily Holmes with Sherlock; Prettiest Bitch, Alison Clarke with Honey, reserve was Frances Bruce with Tilly; Cutest Puppy, Kerry Ann with Frank and Hayley Hardy with Lincoln; Waggiest Tail, Sarah Moulds with Brior, reserve was Izzy Chalmers with Miley; Best Biscuit Catcher, Josh Smellie with Bean, reserve was Paul Bott with Buddy; Best Rescue, Alison Clarke with Honey, reserve was Christine with Zac; Best in Show, Alison Clarke with Honey, reserve was Sarah Moulds with Brior.
