It was another successful year of The Great Blooming Tea Party, organised by The Melton Mowbray Fundraising Group for Marie Curie.

Cathy Lawrence, honorary secretary for Melton Mowbray Fundraising Group was very pleased with the turnout for the event at the Marie Curie shop in Nottingham Street.

She said: “On the day we raised £268.83 and with further donations which are still coming in we will have achieved our target of £300.

“We were delighted with the generosity of our supporters, not least of which for the provisions of coffee and tea given by More Coffee Co’s Mark.”
