UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed and dangerous driving arrest after collision on A52

The collision was reported at 8.35am and involved a car and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

The A52 remains closed at the junctions with Nottingham Road and the Barkstone Lane crossroads, but is expected to open shortly.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and is currently in police custody.
