Two people trapped after car ends up in a ditch at Wymondham
Firefighters were alerted this afternoon (Tuesday) after a vehicle left the road and ended up in a ditch at Wymondham.
Crews from both Melton and Oakham stations, together with two appliances from the city’s Southern station attended the incident, in Main Street, at 1.31pm.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One vehicle was in a ditch and two people were trapped.
“One casualty self-extricated and the other casualty was assisted from the vehicle by fire service personnel.”
