Spectacular scenes as the Flying Scotsman comes to Melton
Hundreds of people turned out to see the majestic Flying Scotsman powering into Melton Railway Station on Saturday morning.
Readers have been sending us their spectacular photographs as the iconic steam train made its way through the borough.
Here is a selection of some of those images as the train came to Melton from London King’s Cross en route to York.
The train has been restored at a cost of £4.2 million in recent years after first taking to the tracks in 1923.
