The oldest house in the Vale of Belvoir attracted a host of visitors when it opened its doors over the bank holiday.
The Old Manor House in Long Clawson, which has parts dating back to 1580, was open for conducted tours on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
More than £1,500 was raised, with the money to be given to St Remigius Church’s windows appeal.
Organiser Sally-Ann Shouler said: “This was the first time we held the tours over a bank holiday in May as usually they’re at the end of August.
“We had around 300 people come to view the house which was a terrific turnout.
“I’d like to thank the twelve to fifteen helpers I had over both days as without them this wouldn’t have been possible.”
