The call is out for teams to enter a charity quiz night for the Mayor of Melton’s Appeal.

The event is in aid of councillor Jeanne Douglas’s two good causes - the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust, which provides sporting and educational opportunities for more than 2,500 children every year, and homelessness charity Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland.

The quiz night will be hosted by quizmaster Richard Angrave at the council’s Parkside offices in Melton, on Friday, October 30.

Teams of four are invited to join in the fun. The price of £7.50 per person includes a ‘bonfire party’ supper. There will also be a raffle supported by many local businesses.

To book a table email or call Melton Sports on (01664) 668191.
