“Team Alison,” made up of Colin Baggott, David Loasby and Martin Hansen ran in memory of Alison Baggott, a popular teaching assistant at Brownlow School, to raise funds for Target Ovarian Cancer.

Despite making a valiant effort to catch Mo Farrah, passing thousands of other runners, penguins, minions and caped crusaders in their pursuit, they were ultimately unsuccessful.

However, they all finished in excellent times, David finishing in 2 hours 9 minutes, Martin in 2 hours 11 minutes and Colin in 2 hours 37 minutes.

Most importantly, they have now raised over £2,200 for Target Ovarian Cancer with more pledges still to be added.
