Teachers and playgroup staff invited to knitted bible figure event
The Ladies of Sage Cross Methodist Church and the Melton Methodist Circuit have invited teachers, playgroup leaders and toddler group leaders to attend a launch event they have organised featuring some of their knitting craft work.
The displays entitled ‘The Knitted Bible’ feature knitted figures from 31 different bible stories and are being offered as a resource to schools, playgroups and churches to teach youngsters about religion and bring biblical stories to life.
The launch event at Sage Cross Methodist Church starts on Friday, January 29, from 10am-4pm.
A second exhibition for public viewing starts the following day from 10am-4pm.
