An illustrated ‘farming for wildlife’ talk is being held in Buckminster on Tuesday to raise funds towards repairing a village church’s roof damaged by lead thieves.
Local farmer Julia Hawley will give the talk at Buckminster Village Hall from 7.30pm. Entry is £4 on the night. There will be a short interval with light refreshments and a chance to buy cakes, plants, local produce and books.
It’s in aid of repairing the roof of the Church of St Mary the Virgin at Wyfordby.
