Specsavers takes on Olympic challenge

SPECSAVERS staff have taken to the saddle to cover the 120 mile distance from Melton to the Olympic Park in the run up to the games.

Staff members have been taking it turns to cycle the distance using a static bike in the Sherrard Street store since last Wednesday.

The bike was donated to Specsavers by Waterfield Leisure Pool.

Marcus Lee, customer service manager, said: “We have been taking it in turns to cycle up to 10 miles each, often in our work gear.

“We hope to finish the route by Tuesday.”
