Runners of all ages and abilities are being urged to enter this year’s Queniborough Fun Run on Saturday, March 21.
It’s the second race in the Cross Country Fun Run Mini Series which also calls at Thrussington on Saturday (March 7) and Frisby on April 18.
The races include stream crossings and hay bale jumps and are aimed at fun for all age.
The Queniborough Fun Run course is located on South Croxton Road, in a field just past the cemetery. The route includes lots of mud and water crossings along the way.
The race distance is three-quarters-of-a-mile for juniors (pre-school to Year 6) over one lap and one-and-a-half miles for all other categories over two laps. The first race will start at 2pm.
Medals will be presented to all finishers and there will also be refreshments and a prize presentation.
Entries are in advance only and its recommended that postal entries should be received by the race organisers by no later than March 16.
The fun run entry fee is £5 per person (excludes adults accompanying under sixes). Proceeds will go to Loros.
