Police name motorcyclist killed in road collision at Frisby

A motorcyclist who died after a collision on the A607 at Frisby has been named.

Nigel Alexander (60), of Loughborough, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which involved his Yamaha R1 and a Range Rover Evoque.

The driver of the Range Rover sustained minor injuries in the collision, which happened at 12.40pm on Friday March 25, and was discharged from the Leicester Royal Infirmary after treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the DC 4484 Alison Ide of Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 283 of 25 March.
