Melton Slimming World consultant Mandy Cross said: “It was a fantastic event. The atmosphere was electric and everyone was so supportive of each other

“I’m so pleased with how much we raised for Cancer Research UK and I think the event showed people just how motivating being part of a Slimming World group like ours can be.

“A special mention has to go to our new friends at Melton’s Defence Animal Centre, who joined us on the walk on August 18 and made a donation, and to those who sponsored us but couldn’t make it on the night.”
