Christmas party for surgery patients over 80
The elderly on the books of three rural medical practises enjoyed some early festive cheer at a Christmas party.
Vale Medical Group (which comprises Long Clawson, Stackyard Surgery at Croxton Kerrial and Woolsthorpe Surgery), hosted the event at Hose Village Hall for their patients who’re over 80.
The afternoon was well attended and guests enjoyed tea, mince pies, crackers and a free raffle, where the prizes were handed out by Father Christmas.
The party-goers were entertained by Jed Jaggard, who gave a “show and tell” taste of some historical Christmases past, and the day was rounded off with carol singing from Hose School.
