Pair taken to hospital after car crashes into ditch
Two people were taken to hospital this afternoon (Wednesday) after a car crashed into a ditch in Burton-on-the-Wolds.
Fire crews from Birstall and Loughborough were called to the incident which happened just after midday on Melton Road. The air ambulance also attended.
One of the casualties managed to free themselves from them vehicle and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The other casualty was extricated from the vehicle before being treated by paramedics.
Both were taken to hospital by road ambulance.
