A savvy child at Old Dalby Primary School has raised over £120 for charity.
Lily Topliss, a year three pupil has raised funds for Alopecia UK by running a raffle and cake stall amongst her peers.
The good cause Lily chose is one that is close to her heart as one of her relations is living with the condition.
With the help of two friends, Lily also lead a whole school assembly to inform her mates about the charity and her fundraising quest.
Rosie Browne, acting headteacher at the school, said: “Staff and friends are very proud of Lily’s efforts and would like to thank everyone who donated and bought cakes and everyone who bought raffle tickets.”
