New programme to '˜Open Doors' for Melton businesses

A new free service is available to businesses across Melton to help workers improve their skills.

The ‘Open Doors’ programme provides free advice and training for employees to help them progress.

Local training organisation Interserve Learning & Employment will work with local businesses – from childcare to construction – to help them identify their skills need and agree a suitable training schedule. Industry specific training is also available.

Open Doors manager Timothy Beasley said: “This opportunity will truly open doors for employees and employers alike.”

The service is available to all businesses in the region with less than 250 employees.
