Calling themselves ‘The Muddie Buddies’ the ladies took on the obstacle-laden challenge at Loughborough’s Prestwold Hall on Sunday.

And with the help of friends, family and other generous people they managed to raise over £500.

The determined team members were Fiona Ketteringham and Tracy Baxter, who both work at the Jumping Jellybeans Play Centre, Wendy Benskin, Katarzyna Wojcik and Felicity Bartley.

Although she didn’t take part herself Melton woman Fearne Cunningham was there to give them support.

She said: “The ladies are thankful for all the donations and support. They had a fantastic time and even had their own T-shirts made. They’re looking forward to doing it all over again next year!”
