Have your say

New voices are welcome to join the Melton Mowbray Male Voice Choir.

The choir, which has been singing for more than half a century, presently has a membership of 25, including accompanist and choir conductor.

Its repertoire consists of a wide variety of popular classics, folk songs, ballads and songs from musical shows.

The choir takes part in concerts, entertainment for various interest groups, retirement homes and combined choir events. Its concerts have also helped raise thousands of pounds for local and national charities. New voices are always welcome. Come and sing, or just sit and listen on a Monday night. The cost of membership is minimal.

The choir practices at Sage Cross Methodist Church on Monday nights, 7.30pm-9pm, in the community room (Morrisons car park entrance)
