Shire climate change grants of up to £5,000 are available through a scheme run by Leicestershire County Council.

As well as improving energy-efficiency the funding can help reduce the impact of climate change on community buildings.

Projects must be located in the county. Schemes can include energy audits, installation of heating systems, roof or cavity wall insulation, and renewable systems.
