Organisers of a charity golf day on Thursday hope to raise up to £300 for the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
Farmers from the Melton borough will be competing to receive £200 worth of commission when they sell in Melton Mowbray Market, which is co-ordinating the event.
Golfing prizes will also be up for grabs during the day, which will be hosted by Sixhills Golf Club.
It is the first time the event has been held but it is hoped it will become an annual tournament.
