TALENTED pupils got the chance to impress their parents and grandparents by taking part in a school production called The Toyshop.
Hose C of E Primary School’s end of year show was packed with dances and contemporary songs and was all about the importance of getting on well with people and learning how to compromise.
The show, which saw the collision of the toys world with the real world, was written by the school’s Key Stage 2 teachers.
The production ran twice on Thursday, in the afternoon and evening, and the children’s families were invited to come along and watch them perform.
Headteacher Margaret Cox said: “The children worked incredibly hard to prepare for the show by taking part in lots of rehearsals.
“Parents also put in a lot of effort by helping create many of the costumes.
“It was a great end to the year.”
