Last year, the college was awarded ‘excellent’ in all categories by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate and the A level data has reinforced inspectors’ comments that the attainment of the students across all external examinations is excellent.

Five per cent of Year 13 students gained entry into Oxbridge or Ivy League Universities and 15 per cent scored A*A*A or better.

Its pass rate was 100 per cent, with 71 per cent of all grades being A*-B, and 41 per cent of all grades being A or A*. The majority of students have secured their first choice university.

Headmaster Gareth Lloyd said: “Our current Year 13 students have been wonderful in every way; I am so proud of them. They have worked extremely hard to access exciting and fulfilling opportunities after school; they have played hard in a fantastic variety of extra-curricular activities, especially sport, music and drama; and most importantly, they have looked after each other and others both within the School community and beyond.

“I am delighted that their exemplary work ethic has been rewarded with demonstrable academic success.”
