Join the bid to save the Regal Cinema

They are hoping to win the support of the community and explore the idea of running it as a social enterprise.

Following an approach by the Melton Times the future of the town’s cinema, which is seeking to go into liquidation, has been included on the agenda of the Melton Community Forum on Thursday, July 19 at 2pm.

This is a public meeting held in the council chamber at Parkside and all those interested in saving the Regal are urged to attend and show their support.

The Melton Times is to hold a photocall outside the Regal Cinema on Monday (July 9) at 9.30am for any readers who would like to get involved in the campaign to save the Regal.
