A mobile support service for older people at risk of developing sight loss is stopping off at more locations in the Melton region next week.
The service, launched by sight loss charity Vista in partnership with Leicestershire County Council, is touring the county providing information, and advice. Vista is raising awareness of signs and symptoms of sight loss and the importance of early diagnosis.
Manned by friendly staff, the vehicle includes an area for individual consultation.
On Monday it will be at Freeby Village Hall, Main Street, Freeby, 9.30am-noon, and Edmondthorpe Village Hall, Main Street, Edmondthorpe, 1.30pm-4pm. On Tuesday it’s at Waterfield Leisure Centre, Dalby Road, Melton, 9.30am-noon and Burton Lazars Village Hall, 1.30pm-4pm.
