Dental patients in Melton and Rutland are being urged to have their say on future services in the area by taking part in a consultation launched by NHS England this week.
NHS England is reviewing the provision of urgent and routine dental services for patients and is now inviting views on options to help shape the future of NHS Dental Services in Leicestershire and Rutland, including future plans for the Dental Access Centre in Leicester and the dental out-of-hours service.
Patients’ feedback will be used, alongside an assessment of oral health needs and information from the wider health community, to design and shape local dental services for the future - including determining the most appropriate services needed to provide access to NHS urgent, routine and out-of-hours dental care.
The consultation runs until November 1.
Patients can get involved by either completing an online questionnaire at http://bit.ly/1LxdBsd or by phoning (0116) 295 4183 and requesting a hard copy.
