Business people in Melton are being invited by local fitness and health guru Rosemary Conley to take part in a campaign to show how diet can affect their work.
Mrs Conley, who lives at Ashby Folville, is working with the borough council on the initiative which is aimed at promoting the district’s thriving business community and its reputation as a rural capital of food.
Volunteers will be offered the opportunity for a free group session with Rosemary in the new year to find out how they can improve their diet and lifestyle to get the most out of their working day.
Participants, who are being sought from sectors such as agriculture, gardening, food manufacturing, engineering and IT, will need to keep a daily food diary for a week, including logging the amount of physical activity they have done.
The council is inviting applications to take part from people based in the Melton borough who are either self-employed or managing a business.
