Reduced winter opening hours set to begin at tips in the Melton borough

The Lake Terrace facility, in Melton, and those at Bottesford and Somerby, will continue to be open five days a week, but for a reduced period from 9am until 4pm.

The five-day pattern of opening is arranged so the sites are open at weekends, with Melton closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and both Bottesford and Somerby closed on Thursdays and Fridays.

Extended opening hours for each of the sites, which are managed by Leicestershire County Council, will resume on April 1 next year.
