Pupils at a village school have been honing their reading skills as part of an initiative to develop literacy abilities.
Many of the children at St Michael and All Angels CofE Primary School at Rearsby passed the Summer Reading Challenge.
They were tasked to read a set number of books around the theme of the Guinness World Records.
A school spokesperson said: “Many of our children successfully completed the challenge.
“We recognise that reading is a life-long skill and that an enjoyment of reading is more crucial than ever.”
